Pride Was a Riot – a virtual dace party and learning opportunity for LGBTQ+ and allied teens.

Organized and led by an inter-generational group of LGBTQ+ community members, from teens on up.

2:00-2:30 – Queer History
What are the origins of the Pride Parades? How did early queer activists create community and fight for their rights? Learn about your history and the folks who paved the way for where we are today.

2:30-3:00 – Community and Style
Learn about organizations providing programming and services for queer teens, and show off your rad rainbow and queer outfits! Can’t wear them to an in-person parade? This is the place to do it!

3:00-4:00 – Dance Party
Just what it says on the tin – dance it out to music by queer artists, popular tunes, and other danceable beats.
