Jewish Learning Venture — Navigating Gender Identity and Gender Roles With Young Children
June 7 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Date and Time: Wednesday, June 7th, 8:00pm
Location: Zoom
Educator jargon alert: DAP, or developmentally appropriate practice, is a term often used to describe a style of education. According to NAEYC, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, it means that the school creates experiences that consider the “knowledge of early learning and child development and recognizing children as individuals.” There is a strong emphasis on anti-bias and allowing children to explore their feelings and their identities.
We have invited Galia Godel, an expert on young children’s developing gender identities, to host a webinar with us on this important topic. Join us to learn how to support young children during this exploratory time in their lives. This workshop is for all adults who interact with young children.
